Since 2008, Device Solutions has been passionate about designing embedded products that solve real problems.
What started as developing our own System-on-Module products – including the Opal-6 and Topaz – has evolved into something broader: designing and manufacturing complete custom embedded solutions, built around the best available hardware platforms to deliver rugged, reliable products tailored to each customer's application.
We believe engineers should focus on what makes their product unique. The processor selection, memory architecture, power supply design – these are solved problems, and reinventing them on every project wastes time and budget. Our role is to handle that complexity so your team can concentrate on what only you can build.
As a small, specialist operation based in Rolleston, New Zealand, we work differently to larger firms. When you work with Device Solutions, you work directly with the engineer doing the work – no account managers, no handoffs, no translation layers. Just direct collaboration with the people who understand your problem deeply.
We maintain a core team with expertise spanning hardware engineering, software engineering, and manufacturing, and we partner with specialists across Asia, Europe, and North America for operating system support, manufacturing, and regional assistance.
